| 72-1570 (cn 2) The Northrop YF-17 Cobra lost out to the General Dynamics F-16 Fighting Falcon in the U.S. Air Force's Lightweight Fighter program. The design was later modified and enlarged to become the McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet. It is on display at the U.S.S. "Alabama" Battleship Memorial Park. | |||
