	N5786X (cn 1492) One of the Geneva Firefighters standing by during a Med-Evac standby at Geneva Memorial Hospital, now known as UH Geneva Medical Center. Using my old Pentax K-1000, I caught N5786X, an Aerospatiale AS-350B Ecureuil landing on the pad. While Metro Life Flight began operations in September 1982, it was still considered risky to some and firefighters were often asked to standby with their apparatus during landing and takeoff.

While home on leave from the Air Force, I accompanied my old friends at Geneva Fire Dept, where I began my firefighting career, to a Med-Evac standby at Geneva Memorial Hospital, now known as UH Geneva Medical Center. Using my old Pentax K-1000, I caught N5786X, an Aerospatiale AS-350B Ecureuil landing on the pad. While Metro Life Flight began operations in September 1982, it was still considered risky to some and firefighters were often asked to standby with their apparatus during landing and takeoff.

	N65491 / 138245 (cn 200-316) A North American T-28B Trojan, Bu No. 138245, C/N 200-316, on display at the I-X Piston Power Show at the International Exposition Center, adjacent to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport, Cleveland, OH. Sadly, this T-28B, owned and operated by Dave Tondi of Sterling, VA, was the only aircraft on display this year. This aircraft was built at the North American Aviation factory in Columbus, OH in 1955 and placed into service with the US Navy on 13 Jun 1955.

	N886GT (cn 8091) A new Airbus Helicopters AS350B3 and Life Flight Air Ambulance provider for the database. North Central AirCare, operating under Guardian Flight, began service in September, 2017. N886GT is registered as an AS350 but since Airbus acquired Eurocopter, the aircraft was re-designated as the H125. The Air Ambulance will respond when needed and is capable of transporting critically injured patients to trauma centers in Toledo and Cleveland. North Central AirCare is based on US 250 in Milan, OH.

	Unknown (cn Unknown) A Sikorsky VH-60N White Hawk and two USMC Sikorsky VH-3D Sea King's from Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) pass by the Washington Monument on approach to the south lawn of the White House to pick up the POTUS. The center Sea King landed on the South Lawn while the other two circled overhead. Luckily, I had time to run back to my car and grab my zoom lens for the following shots. HMX-1 (Nighthawks) Squadron is based at Marine Corps Air Facility Quantico, VA. Funny enough, it was nearly 10-years ago when I was in D.C. and was able to catch similar shots from the same location (17th Street SW).
