N4507L (cn 006) The Evangel 4500-300 was a twin piston-engine short take-off and landing airplane designed to operate out of rough, unprepared airfields. The Evangel Aircraft Corporation was based in Orange City, IA and set about to build this airplane for missionary work in the late 1960s and early 1970s. This aircraft, built in 1973, is one of three remaining out of a total production run of 8 (the second one is being restored in Wasilla, Alaska and the third is being restored in Villavicencio, Colombia). |
