GREEN — The MAPS Air Museum at the Akron-Canton Airport was a stop on the Wings of Freedom Tour Aug. 13-16, a Collings Foundation event that brought rare bomber and fighter aircraft to the area as part of a 110-city national tour. via Akron Ohio News – Vintage planes thrill at MAPS event.
The 75th anniversary of the DC-3 will be celebrated at EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh this year with a mass arrival of an expected 40 planes.
