N214AU / N7645U (cn 20214) Queuing up for departure at the old Stapleton airport in Denver. This was during the early days of the rebirth of Frontier Airlines, and at the time I think they only had two aircraft. I remember departing from Stapleton many times during my days as a flight attendant, and the three things I remember most were the unbelievably long takeoff rolls, magpies, and the prairie dog colonies! |

N214AU (cn 20214) Everything in this photo long since gone, this is one of my favorite shots from one of my visits to Stapleton, and it pretty well summed up what it meant to be in the Mile High City in the Rocky Mountains. 1993 |
