N87RM (cn 39) Fourteen years ago, I took a trip to Steamboat Springs Colorado just for a chance to fly on a four engined propliner. The small fleet of Dash 7's operated by Continental Express out of (now closed) Denver Stapleton were soon to be retired and I didn't want to miss my chance. This was the actual aircraft I flew on. |

N87RM (cn 39) Pictured on the ramp at Steamboat Springs Colorado after a flight from Denver Stapleton. The approach into SBS is not for the faint of heart, but was quite a rush for a nut like me! May 1994 |

N87RM (cn 39) This is a rare photo taken at Denver Stapleton of this aircraft in the current Continental colors. I took this photo as I was about to board this aircraft on a short trip to Steamboat Springs. My incentive for the trip was not for skiing, it was only to be able to fly on a four-propellered aircraft! I enjoyed it very much, and after a two night stay, flew back to Stapleton and from there returned to Cleveland. This aircraft is still flying today as C-GLOL for Voyageur Airways. Spring 1994 |
