N76526 (cn 38700) An early morning departure from LAX just before we reach the Pacific Ocean shows the end of the beach at Dockweiler State Park, and off in the distance, the hills of Palos Verdes rising from the marine layer off to the south.

N76526 (cn 38700) Over the Pacific and turning towards the east after departure, you can see most of the LA basin in this shot, as well as the airport itself just over the wing. The early morning marine layer of fog mixes with the ubiquitous LA smog, filling the basin as we head back to Cleveland.

N76526 (cn 38700) Heading eastbound shortly after an early morning departure from LAX, we pass over Victorville airport (VCV), a place where many airliners come to die, while others are reborn.
