N31518 (cn Unknown) Piloted by Steve Hinton, well known for his stunt flying for the TV series "Baa Baa Black Sheep", aka "Blacksheep Squadron", this All-Coast Forest Products Corsair was the winner of the Unlimited Class Gold race at Reno in 1985 setting a new race record at 438+ mph, and is being signed in magic marker by crew members following the race. With clipped wings a streamlined canopy and twice the horsepower of a standard Corsair, this plane would be destroyed on March 19, 1994 during the Phoenix 500 race seriously injuring the pilot.
