	N69311 / N14308 (cn 23362) (Best at 1152 size.) Say goodbye to old ship 311, as it leaves tomorrow as flight 9970 for retirement in Victorville, California. Obtained during the New York Air acquisition in 1987, it has served Continental well during the last 22 years. Behind it, is ship 308 (N14308, cn 23359) another New York Air bird preparing for retirement. Both were withdrawn from use on August 31, 2009.

	N17328 / N14308 (cn 23458) (Best at 1152 size.) Two of Continental's next retirees (N14308, cn 23359 in the rear) sit outside the maintenance hangar undergoing exit preparations and getting their identities painted out. Of all the exit birds so far, this is the only one I've seen painted in this shade of blue on the tail.

	N69311 / N12313 (cn 23362) 2 planes (ship 311 c/n 23362 and ship 313 c/n 22364) that were only 1 apart on the production line back in 1985 now sit quietly at south cargo next to each other waiting to head to the desert for their retirement.

	N17328 / N69311 (cn 23458) (View at 1152 size.) Bye bye birdies... Two more of Continental's 737-3TO's are being prepped for retirement by the Cleveland maintenance crews. Interesting to note that the blue used to paint out the logo on the near aircraft is brighter than I've seen on any of the other exit birds, such as ship 311 (cn 23362) in the distance.

	N17328 (cn 23458) (View at 1152 size.) After 23 years of service with Continental, ship 328 makes a final trip to the maintenance hangar for final preparations for its retirement from the fleet while Cleveland's very own Iron Chef Michael Symon watches from the IX-Center marquee.
