A former Austrian Arrows (Tyrolean) aircraft, it wears a registration formerly worn by one of CommutAir's old Beech 1900 D's, as does its sister ship, N837CA. Unlike 837 however, this one immediately left Cleveland for Indianapolis where it will eventually be painted. (Photo dedicated to my new friend Andy, who hopes to be flying this bird soon!) | |||

I’m glad I stopped by on the way to work to catch it because it went into the hangar soon after for the beginning of a very detailed maintenance overhaul. Not the best lighting but you take em’ when you can get em’. Looking forward to seeing it in its’ new colors in a few weeks. | |||

Once the maintenance and conversion have been completed, this first -300 series Dash 8 for CommutAir will be flown to Indianapolis (IND), for painting into the new United Express livery. This registration was previously worn by a CommutAir Beech 1900D. | |||

This landing was the conclusion of its six-leg ferry flight all the way from Innsbruck Austria. It routed through Prestwick (PIK), Keflavik (KEF), Narsarsuaq, Greenland (UAK), Goose Bay, Newfoundland (YYR), and Burlington, Vermont (BTV), before arriving in Cleveland this evening. | |||
