188759 (cn 0405/A337) There are some great photos of this aircraft departing BKL on Opshots, here is one of him doing arrival manuevers on Friday. He came into the airspace fat on gas and just "had" to burn off some fuel much to our enjoyment. The late afternoon light, thick haze and 250 knot speed made this a tough picture for my camera. That Hornet sure wakes up the airspace! |

188759 (cn 0405/A337) A Canadian CF-188A (F/A-18A) departs RWY 6L and Cleveland on Tuesday. Not a bad catch; lights, afterburners, and vapor! |

188759 (cn 0405/A337) Disappointingly, this is the only fighter aircraft on static display at the 2011 Cleveland Air show. Thank goodness for the Canadians! I heard budget cuts have put serious strains on the U.S. military, but other air shows somehow manage to get more then one fighter plane to show up! |
