| 68-0426 (cn 3546) A scanned photo of a rarely observed aerial refueling of an F-4E Phantom II from the 181st TFG, Indiana Air National Guard. I tagged along with a crew from the 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker ANG Base in Columbus in 1991. The photo was originally shot from a Pentax K-1000 while lying on my stomach in the fueling station at the rear of the KC-135 at 40,000+ feet somewhere over Illinois. The Phantoms were based at Terre Haute International / Hulman Field (HUF / KHUF). |
