N931NA / 63-7998 (cn 18615) This was the first and only aircraft I saw fly for days in the aftermath of the 9/11 tragedy. Taken on September 13th from the Hopkins employee parking lot, this aircraft now resides on permanent display at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson.

Man,I remember this aircraft, you knew what it was miles out from all the smoke,almost like a CV 880!!!

This aircraft was used to film the weightless sequences in the Tom Hanks film "Apollo 13"

Ah, the original "Vomit Comet." I never got to ride in it but have friends at work who did. I'm happy to know that it has a good home now.
