Although currently registered as McDonnel Douglas, the data plate lists as Douglas Aircraft Company, Inc. with a manufacture date of 27 Feb 1967 in Long Beach, CA. It was likely one of the last built under the Douglas name before the McDonnell Aircraft merger later that year.
