| N9234C (cn 14143) Another find from my Dad's collection, this Martin 4-0-4 was leased to Ray Charles Enterprises and was the entertainer's personal aircraft. Photographed on the ramp at BKL in September of 1967, this aircraft was originally delivered to Eastern Airlines in 1952. I believe that is a Dehavilland Dove operating with Tag Commuter Airlines in the background under the nose. The cockpit of this aircraft now resides at the National Museum of Commercial Aviation in Forest Park, Georgia. |
