| Unknown (cn Unknown) After I showed my Dad my postcard of the Wright E18S on Opshots, he remembered this picture he took at the 1967 Cleveland Air Show and Races. Dads been holding out on me! Working again with Mr Robert Parmerter, we have narrowed this aircraft down to two of four operated by Wright. This ship is either N402FW, or N403FW. With the stairs being down and blocking the full reg number, the only way we will know for sure is to find another picture of N403FW to compare paint schemes and other minor differences. (N402FW is the subject of my postcard) I was standing right next to Dad when he took this photo, so I got to see this plane in person, though at 7 years old, I do not remember it. Cool stuff! Note the racing pylon over the nose of the E18S. |
