Unknown (cn Unknown) The southernmost point on mainland Canada, Point Pelee extends southward into Lake Erie terminating at the 850 acre Pt. Pelee National Park, a major stopover point for migrating birds crossing the lake. This picture was taken during descent towards Cleveland, and shows a nice swirl created by the currents off the point. January 2001
