None (cn None) On final here for 12, a Cessna can be seen lifting off halfway down the runway. This is basically what's left of the airport besides hangars out of the picture to the left. The north/south runway has been closed leaving this configuration. There's still evidence of the Edmonton Grand Prix to the left that was held 2 weeks earlier. Currently there are plans to close the airport which would make the next closest "big" airport Edmonton Intl. which is about 45 minutes from downtown.
