From what I read elsewhere, the lei's appear on all the ETOPS certified aircraft. I rather think they add a nice touch and link our last two states together.

Hmmm..I didnt realize there were multiple Hawaiian planes..I Guess that exlains why I keep seeing them in so many pics :)
