| 52-4123 (cn 53-0658) This stunning F-86L (original s/n 53-0658) is undergoing restoration at MAPS Museum at CAK. The aircraft was originally built as a F-86D, converted to a F-86L, and is being restored by MAPS in the markings of F-86D s/n 52-4123 of the 496 FIS based at Hahn AB in Germany. I had the distinct honor of working on this aircraft at the museum for a year and a half, and the finshing crew are doing a fantastic job getting it ready for final display.
