| N73137 (cn 88) Seeing Mark's shot of this bird taken in April 06 reminded me that I had a shot of that same Convair myself. I was particularly interested in this one because of its status as the prototype for the Rolls Royce Dart conversion 600 series. Hard to imagine the prototype is still around when so many of its brethren have been put to the torch. Note the B-1 parked in the background, staged here for its demonstration at the Cleveland Air Show. September 1, 2005 |
