Again, a great photo. The T-38 is art in motion. As for the NASA building, in my humble opinion, it (along with a lot of the NASA Glenn/Lewis grounds) should be placed on the National Register of Historic Places. There is simply too much U.S. aviation history that occurred there to have it simply torn down. |

Yeah, that's him alright! The "Polish Pilot!" He had to sell his company last year after a stroke, but he's doing well. Check the shots from Middlefield to see some of his work...here's one: http://www.opshots.net/gallery2/index.php?page=photos&id=13983 |

Chuck, my grand-father worked at NASA until 1973 and had an office in that building also for a time. I was talking with my dad today and he said your dad built ultralights. |

Thanks! I would sure hate to see those buildings go...I remember seeing Captain Penny, Captain Kangaroo and Barnaby in the auditorium there when I was a kid and my Dad worked at NASA! BTW...I went to high school with Mike Good (he was a year or so behind me) but his sister was in my class! |

Great shot. I didn't get over for the crew briefing this time. This was the crew that I saw launched in May on Atlantis. Mike Good was on that crew. FYI, we've been told we're staying in that building at least until Aug 2011. |
