| N41135 (cn 29284) As the North Atlantic Tracks shift northward in the winter, we get to fly over Greenland, rather than just seeing it off our wingtip. The sun never rises very far so you get some nice shadows. Here we are about 15 miles north of Narsarsuaq. The moon adds a nice touch...Spotlight Edit: I chose this photo for its ability to keep me mesmerized. Crossing the vast inhospitable landscape of Greenland was not something that was done on a daily basis not so very long ago. |
