You have a great memory! You did have to pay a dime to enter and go through the green turnstiles. (I would pay 10 dollars today!)On the weekends, they had a permanent covered concession stand and rest rooms right there on the observation deck. Can you imagine?

I love the classic shots. I was probably up there with you guys, too! Great memories of some good times. Airport kids! Funny: back in the day, the signs just said "no smoking", not "no trespassing" haha
