N788FT (cn 46008) This 34 year old color negative of this Flying Tiger DC-8 was taken in extreme cold and Very windy conditions.....With the long time exposure and the fast moving clouds at sunset produced the purple colors in the sky..Notice the lights of an aircraft taking off of Rwy 36.. This aircraft went on with UPS and was converted into a DC-8-73AF and is still flying today..

I have to put my two cents in now too...great shot that brings back lots of memories. And I love the runway 36 action...I only once ever departed from that runway, as best as I recall.
