N631NW (cn 23111) The only time we saw an aircraft take off from Rwy 25L the whole time we were here. The second longest runway at LA but the widest at 11,095 X 200. From the judge of all the spotters around me you know that it must be very rare as everyone was hurrying to catch her. Of course I was up front and ready since I basically shot every aircraft I could. Nice and loud!! Best viewed at 1152.

You're welcome! It's a great shot of a great bird. There's no rhyme or reason to what I pick...I look into the gallery and pick what catches my eye and this one deserved a second chance!

One of my favorite shots from my LAX spotting trip. Thanks Chuck for making it the Editors choice.

I think I uploaded a pic of that bird already. I will have to check. She was here for two days in a row.

that - is - gorgeous!

In all my times spotting at LAX, I've seen less than 10 planes depart from 25L....and all cargo birds.
