N955U (cn 49427) A double diversion...this is American Airlines flight 1066, scheduled from Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW/KDFW) TX to Louisville (SDF/KSDF) KY. Due to high winds from the remnants of Hurricane Ike, it was to divert to Port Columbus (CMH/KCMH), but the winds were too much there as well, and it came to Hopkins instead. This is a rare visit by a mainline AA aircraft, and the first AA MD-80 in a long time!
