Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to check in with you all to see how you are finding the new forum setup? I know it came as a shock to a lot of you, and there were issues when we were all trying to get our passwords reset, but other than that, what do you think?
Are you finding the things you hoped to find? Are there things you are looking for that you can't find? Are you becoming familiar with the navigation of the site?
I'm still learning my way around too, but I'm finding that it's growing on me and it's actually a lot better than the old one in many ways.
So, having said that...what's the verdict?

No problems finding anything, plus I got a warped animated alien avatar. Enjoyed the OPShots favorite videos.

It's growing on me - not having any problems finding anything. I like the "active" threads being at the bottom of the forum page. It's easier to see what's new. Air Show Buzz also just totally re-did their site as well so I'm figuring out my two favorite aviation sites at the same time! One thing I do miss is the "geek" rankings that we had on the old forums.

My only wish is a button more like other PHP forums where I can see only all new posts and then mark those threads as read. Other than that it is working ok on my MBP for me.

I like the forums ok, it isnt as easy to tell if there are new posts in the forums but i like the "most recent" discussions feature.
we just need to coax people back in here and get some more discussions going.
Come on chuck, say something controversial in another thread.

I'm not having any issues. I think I'm getting along nicely with the new forums. With the days becoming noticeably longer and the temperatures gradually climbing, I've been working outside a lot more in the evenings, hence my absence. I hope to make it back out to MFD again on a nice evening for some great shots of the 179th's new metal.
