After reading through this, I'm surprised that listed as prohibited in the TFR are Ultralight, hang glider and model aircraft operations. Those three are not really regulated by FAR's to the most part, the majority of the operators have probably never read through the FAR's and I'm sure none of the above ever check to see if any of these restricitions may be in place before they go about their "operations".
I was actually thinking about taking my R/C planes flying today, on a field near the lake. I guess technically, that is not allowed during the TFR times listed above...
There was a pilot that got a quick lesson in checking the TFRs yesterday. When I got to our Civil Air Patrol meeting at Skypark (near Wadsworth), I was told a plane took off at 15:00. Immediately the phone rang with Homeland Security on the horn. The plane was instructed to set down at Medina Muni. I don't know what happened to him, but he did retun at 16:30.
So....if he can go flying, I dunno why you couldn't have!
