Just throwing this topic out there to see if anyone has the inside on what regionals will get the ax or will survive this merger?

I could see them keeping the regionals that fly jets (i.e. ExpressJet and AirWisconsin) but dumping most of the turboprop service except for EAS carriers.

From what we are hearing from the chq side that we are parking 4 to 5 airplanes in march for CO. The rumor is also we are shifting flying to EWR.Our contract with Co is up in 2012 so who knows what will happen

CHQ contract is up in 2012, and Skywest/ASA/XJT will CO/UA covered pretty well. I doubt if CHQ extends, since Mr Bedford has already said he wants to get rid of the 50 seaters

its sad that we wont be operating anymore co express flights past 2012. That was our best codeshare by far
