Since I'm stuck up here in Quebec City til at least Thursday with EWR essentially being closed, thought I would throw this poll out there to have some fun.

Well...I'm basing this guess on the last storm we had.  It brought 5 diversions, and it wasn't even as bad as this is supposed to be.  Unless more flights than last time were pre-canceled, I'm guessing more than three!

I'm thinking more than three, but no more than seven.

The Chicken Little forecasters have really been running around screaming about this one. I think that everything will already be pre-canceled.

Out of the sandbox, finally!

FedEx will have a somewhat rare A310 daylight arrival on Wednesday due to some weather related operational changes.  Probably about 0930am.

I'm skeptical about marking more than 3.  EWR is scared to death and the subsequent canceling of flights ahead of time is just an effort to save face.  Chicago is getting hammered, but CLE isn't going to be having a walk in the park with this storm either.  Granted, our crews will show 'em how it's done, but it's going to be a challenge to be sure.  CLE isn't going to be ideal, but will likely be the lesser of the evils.  There's a lot of pre-cancellations, I'm sure.  That United 747 sure would be nice!

I guess this was a dud!  While it's good there are no passengers stranded at Hopkins, what about us geeks?  LOL!  I guess this was pretty well planned out in advance, so, a good job by the airlines.  However...the storm ain't over yet!
