I am surprised nobody had yet posted about this.  N106US is currently being moved from the investigation site in New Jersey to the Carolinas Aviation Museum at the Charlotte Airport...CLT.  As of Wednesday night the convoy is stopped at about mile 19 on Interstate 77 in southern West Virginia.  Saturday, June 11, the museum will throw a "welcome home" party for the airplane.  The crew and passengers of the infamous US1549 incident have been invited.  Captain Sullenberger will be there.  I, too, will be there!

Here are some links to the move.
