Sounds a bit morbid, but this actually the title of a new book, published in 2012! Author: Colleen Mondor
The subject matter is accurately described by the sub-title - The dangerous game of flying in Alaska.
An excellent read, I obtained it from my local library. Clevenet Libraries appear to have around 17 copies in circulation and those of you who use libraries will know that you can order a copy from your local branch even if they don't actually have a copy on their shelves.
Largely a collection of anecdotes where the names have been changed to protect certain individuals, it exposes the myths of flying in Alaska and is sometimes funny, often scary and downright tragic.
Has anyone read it yet? What did you think?
