For as long as I've been alive, I've always looked forward to The Cleveland National Air Show. Late August should mean that we can expect cool military and civilian arrivals into CLE and BKL. Not this year... I guess I miss it. Even those years when the line-up of performers isn't extraordinary. It's still a thrill for an enthusiast. Anyone else?
Based on my 30 years in the USN, I'd say there are dozens of things DoD could have cut ahead of the Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, and the Golden Knights, but the administration had to make a "statement". Since it appears the sequester will continue into the next fiscal year, watch DoD magically find a way to restore the flying schedules.
