Had to meet this aircraft this afternoon, which brought a patient for the Cleveland Clinic from Jeddah, with a fuel stop at Heathrow.

Tail number is HZ-MS5A, part of the Saudi Government Air Ambulance fleet.

Can't see a departure scheduled for tomorrow, but I understand it should be here overnight.

Any plane without an N-number is always welcome at CLE.Smile

Darn, I was so busy yesterday I missed it!  That would be this bird then, from a previous visit:

Yes, I've seen Saudi Medevacs here fairly regularly since I started in 1992.  We were wondering if something else was coming in yesterday because we saw the Saudi catering truck over by the firehouse, but we didn't see anything.  In fact, that catering truck seems to be based here now!

I hate to rub it in, but I get to see the whole fleet about once a week.  We go out to Riyadh Airbase to pick up patients all the time from them.

The have at least one L-100, four Gulfstreams, four Citations, four King Airs, two Dauphines, and a few other helios.

Unfortunately, it's on the air base, and photography is almost impossible. Shoot. Just trying to take tourist photos is a pain in the butt.

Out of the sandbox, finally!

One of the King Airs came through here a couple of years ago on its delivery flight.
