Cleveland has a new head of airport operations, and bringing international air service to Cleveland is a high priority.
Aviation consultant Robert Kennedy, a former deputy general manager and interim general manager of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, was sworn in Wednesday morning, Jan. 11, as Cleveland Director of Port Control by Mayor Frank Jackson. The Director of Port Control leads operations at both Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and Burke Lakefront Airport.
For the last five-and-a-half years Kennedy was vice president of consulting services for Aviation Strategies International, a civil aviation consultancy. His work was chiefly with airports outside the United States.
OPShots welcomes Kennedy to Cleveland!
