Gosh it looks weird.

If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you.

It's too bland and lacks that certain eye catching 'wow' factor in my opinion.

I think the font of the UNITED is part of what makes it really weird...

It does look like fecal matter if you ask me!  I think it looks best on the RJ's, but the bigger you get the worse it looks, but then again, I may be slightly biased.  I can't help but think that once all the merger mechanization's are over that an entirely new livery will be unveiled.  I certainly hope so.  I loved the CO livery, but only as CO livery...(not counting Copa here...that's fine too!) it just doesn't look right with that font and gives it an almost "used car" look.  I'd rather have something new!

I've been thinking the same thing - once all this is done there should be a new livery.  Of course painting planes is expensive so we'll see.

I wonder whats going on with the huge UA fleet getting new paint?..Are they actually gonna repaint the CO colors on their fleet with the ridiculous UA tiltles or stall till the profits rise?..Its been a month now...No D checks going on for them  I assume?

I think it would have been better to use United's paint scheme for the merger, or as Chuck said invent something new.

I also believe there will be a new paintjob out soon.  Might as well save the money, not paint the UA fleet, just change the name on the CO jets, and then repaint them all.  That must be what is going on, otherwise there would have been at least one UA jet in the CO colors...
