What effect on Cleveland?  My guess is a gradual move to Cleveland and a big drop for Akron.

I know...we are going to have maybe three airlines when this is all done.  Might as well just put them all together and start an Ameriflot.  Sad times for aviation buffs.

According to the SW FAQ, the 717 fleet will be maintained but will be in SW colors. That will be an interesting sight... I just hope SW's trend of doing special liveries will continue.

This could benefit CLE with increased traffic, but CAK will feel the pinch, no doubt.  And passengers, like the article said, will no doubt see higher fares from less competition.  I'm having trouble picturing a 717 in a SW livery, though.  Somehow, I don't think that will be terribly flattering.  With all the Air Tran planes now needing a new paint job, I guess that means we'll still be seeing SW's Mustard Rockets for a while longer!
