this is very interesting...the whole RJ thing seemed to happen because little carriers could get "pushed around" by the big boys and that kept fares low, and in the opinion of some, brought upon safety concerns...but with republic and now skywest...these "little guys" arent so little...

probably will be better for the industry, but who knows what it will do to prices...and if prices go up, it might be bad for the industry after all...should be interesting

Interesting....Skywest is putting all their eggs in one basket. CO/UA and DL

639 regional aircraft, majority 50 seaters, when majors want to get rid of the 50 seaters
