Most MRO facilities are top notch, and fully certified, but I'm sure there's some that might raise a few eyebrows. I won't comment more because I haven't seen it yet, but I hope it's not just an opportunistic piece slamming airlines that outsource maintenance .

He is a private pilot and was the space and aviation reporter for CNN for years, it's funny that he is being used more in an investigative role by PBS than as a feature reporter (what he did for CNN). I think you will find it pretty fair, as it focuses more on the nature of how the FAA regulates, or chooses not to.
