Saw that video, and the discussions over it are sooo annoying. Obviously the RC people were invited to fly at this airfield. There's a official guy with a radio there supposedly controlling things. There are spectators etc... It's not like these RC guys rocked up at an airport and started using a real live runway for the fun of it. If I was the RC guy, I would sue the operators for the value of my plane.
The plane by the way is nowhere near 50% scale and I bet it also didn't cost $8,000 but maybe he had a fancy engine in it, who knows.

Have a sense of humor about this, don't take this guys misfortune personally man. I was only kidding, didn't mean to offend you or anyone who wears affliction. It reminded me of a song I heard a while ago and thats why.... wait, why am I explaining my sense of humor to you?
Now, I agree with Michi, A. Nuts has disected this mishap almost to the point of OCD. Albeit a healthy discussion never hurts I thought the whole thing was funny, I'm just glad that nobody was injured and the only damage was to the RC plane and the guys pride.
AngeloB. wrote:Oh believe me i dont wear affliction just didn't understand the point you were getting at thats all. I know if that happened to me i would be pissed no matter what shirt i was wearing if any at all.
Yea it's all good man, I have a dry sense of humor sometimes. I got a good chuckle out of the video only because the RC model was there and then pooof, it was gone! I also got a good chuckle out your comment, "if I were wearing one at all." I can see it now, Angelo, flying the RC model at the airfield, no shirt, no shoes, and a brand spanking new Bluejays hat!
