Free Slide Show on the History of Cleveland Airport November 16th

The West Park Historical Society is hosting a slide show on the history of Cleveland-Hopkins Airport on Tuesday, November 16th at 7:15 pm in the Rosenthal Room at The 100th Bomb Group Restaurant at 20920 Brookpark Road. Free and open to the public, the presentation will be made by Bill Meixner, President of the local chapter of the Society of Air Racing Historians.

I went - there was quite a crowd.  It was very interesting to say the least.  So much aviation history here - at one time in the '30's our airport was the largest paved space in the world - and we were also the largest airport in the world.  Amazing when you look at how things are now.
