I think 707 is thinking like I am. Usually he comes on a business day that's all. Has nothing to do with religion. Why is everyone so stuck on Christians and the President and who says the only day to worship is Sunday anyway?

Yeah that's what I was thinking too, I don't know if I remember the President visiting places on weekends.

I apologize.  If you look at it, the President does make visits over the weekends... it just depends on where/what he is visiting.

I've often pondered the same thing, there are much larger issues going on.... and to answer your question, legalistic people. I agree with your question, which I also understood as a statement, everyday is a good day to show reverence.

Yup - I was just mentioning that it is odd for a visit on a weekend - Saturday or Sunday...  Also thinking about work because I work Sundays and they are usually calm mellow days - thinking that one won't be...

VIP visits are cool but they are a lot of work for those of us involved!  (Not that I mind taking care of them!)

C-17 came in today supporting the visit.  C-17A from Dover AFB, 06-6165, c/n P-165, "Spirit of the Constitution."
