I guess I'll answer my own question. From yesterday's PD:
"The "rebranding" of United's Cleveland operations -- including swapping out the United tulip and Continental globe logos with a tweaked globe image that represents the merged carrier, and changing the color scheme at check-in and boarding areas -- is expected to happen in late August or early September."

So at what point do I start saying I fly United instead of Continental? When I flew to TPA a couple weeks ago, it was the first day that Continental was using United's computer systems. Check-in was a bit of a bumpy process; our boarding passes printed fine, but I had to go to United to check my bags. I'm not sure if it was due to me getting free checked bags or just a general problem. I ended up getting $200 in vouchers listed as for United, but that was because they switched my flight due to overbooking. It worked out nicely because I avoided a layover and arrived 2 hours early.
