There are multiple ways to get from MNL to CLE, the easiest probably being on Delta, the only US airline (other than Continental Micronesia) to fly to Manila. All require at least a double connect (e.g. NGO/DTW-probably the easiest routing on DL or NRT/ATL or NRT/DTW, etc.). Total trip time should be about 21-26 hours and fares will probably be running a bit under $2,000 at that time round-trip. You might want to consider a "Round the World" fare offered by one of the major alliances. My parents flew around the world on Star Alliance carriers a couple of years ago and then did it again using Oneworld this past summer. I think Skyteam offers this type of package too.

1. You have to start and finish at the same airport. (As you are apparently doing)
2. You have to cover a certain amount of miles (they have a window).
3. You cannot double back over either ocean.
4. Yeah, sometimes they suck.
I'll see what I can do for you.
OK I have found the problem. You need to have at least three stopovers for at least 24 hours each in order to use the RTW fares. Right now you only have two: Manila and Cleveland. So, maybe you want to spend a day in Hawai'i?
