It's been a while that a big airliner couldn't get any of its gear down:

Yes, I saw this!!  Pretty amazing to see something that big come down so nicely without wheels.  Kudos to the crew and airport staff that made this into a successful outcome!  EDIT:  In fact, this is the first I've seen this particular video...nice find!

Awesome job by the crew!  They made it look like that's how it was supposed to be landed!  Can you imagine how loud the scraping must have been inside?

Yeah, sorry...got my runway incidents mixed up!  In this case, I think they would use a combination of cranes and airbags.  They used that combination when the Mesaba RJ fell on its nose gear at the gate here in '06:
