I apologize for not using the correct terminology in advance... but,
Is United/Continental adjusting arrival and departure times and grouping them more in "banks" thus allowing more people to connect here?
I fly somewhat regularly (and I know that this market is heavily O & D) but, it seems like more passengers are connecting than in the fairly recent past. Maybe it's just me...
Hi. I don't know that I would call it "staggering", but yes, UA/CO has definitely begun integrating the flight schedules, although for now, they are still operating independently since a single certificate has yet to be issued. Some flights come in as United, but leave as Continental, or vice versa. It gets a little confusing sometimes, since the workforce is still separate...thus a flight coming in as a United flight will be worked on the ground by traditional United employees, while the outbound, operating as CO will be worked by CO ramp crews and gate agents. The plane and flight crews will stay the same. Soon, it will all be the same.
