Again, United Airlines could be planning major cutbacks at CLE.
"The cuts could mean a majority of the United flights coming through Hopkins could be eliminated, as well as many local layoffs," the station wrote in a post on WKYC.com under the headline 'United pulling hub out of Cleveland?'
Mayor Frank Jackson will address the issue at an 11 a.m. press conference on Monday.

I have to say this news is very disappointing. I guess the big question is what happens now, and will any new carriers come in to take United's place? United seems to have left us in a sort of limbo while they attempt to still cater to O&D with their mainline flights. Will there be room for a new carrier to come into the market and expand in the midst continuing heavy competition from United?
More concerning is what will happen to the terminals, some of which have had extremely extensive investment recently?
Also, this is my first post here! Sorry it comes at such a rough time, though.
