It landed just now, its dark enough outside that the street lights are illuminating the streets, It landed with no beacons or spotlight on, and the deck lights at the helipad didnt turn on until he was nearly touched down(red perimeter lights were on like normal)

I could not make out what type of chopper it was as its a little dark for that.

Can anyone offer any insight as to why a helicopter would approach and land without any lights on?
