Hi guys! This is the first chance that I've had to get online since arriving here on 10 April. I flew out of CLE on Delta to JFK. Was stuck there for over six hours, but boy, did I see some stuff. I even got to see that ugly 380 in Air France colors.
Left on a Saudi Air 777 and had a great flight. That thing is something else! Arrived in Riyadh about 12 hours later. Couldn't see anything to shoot, but since then, I've seen lots of wide bodies going over the walls of my compound. Unfortunately, I'm too far out to do any quality photography of them, and they usually break away from my area. Plus, the sky is usually pretty hazy.
That's it for now, as I'm borrowing work internet. I hope to get my own soon, and get back to being a regular on here.

Hi Yak! Glad to hear from you, too! Take care of yourself over there, and hopefully you'll be able to take in some sights someday too, while you're at it.

Well, I've determined that I'm a fair distance from the airport. I get a lot of awesome stuff flying over my compound, but that's the problem. They fly directly over the compound, and all I usually see is a belly.
The other bad thing is the weather here. This is the rainiest it's been for this time of year in over 25 years they told me. Not only that, we've been getting lots of sandstorms off the desert, and it stays in the air a lot.
It actually looks like a pink haze, or fog. Bummer.
